Without a precise quote and page number it’s hard to answer you. It sounds though – purely from what you write here – that it’s a rather creative / intuitive interpretation of the ‘ring pass not’.

In “man the measure of all things”,the author says that we can :rise up through the ring(s) pass not” and H.P.B seemed to enjoy the “joke” also because she did not finish translating the rest of the stanza.The question is:CAN we really rise up through the rings pass not?It would be wonderful if we could,but i have never heard any comments about this subject anywhere in theosophic literature.Could anybody ut there: please comment?Sincerely:Norman Simpson.And i am very serious about this,so a sincere answer only please.
